Description:
- Material: Stainless steel, ISO color-coded, hand-end made up of plastic with
serration for better grip. Passivated to prevent rusting - Cross-section: Tear-shaped cross-section hand file with extremely sharped edges
- Tip: Non-active tip with smooth edges prevent ledge formation in curved canals
- High elastic & tensile strength: Flexible with less potential for separation
- Motion: Use in retraction or pull motion- cuts only in one direction due to positive
angled incline grooves - Depth markings: For easy identification of length while working
Indications:
- Used to widen the canal
- Helps to evacuate debris & necrotic tissues from the canal
- Used for probing & permeabilization of debris
- Can be used in traction due to its profile
- Used to remove gutta percha in retreatment cases
